Shedeur Sanders was hoping to lead the Cleveland Browns to a second straight win in his second straight start on Sunday afternoon against the San Francisco 49ers. Unfortunately, that outcome was not in the cards for the rookie quarterback.

When all was said and done, the Browns ended up falling victim to the 49ers by a final score of 26-8.

Throughout the course of the game, Sanders had some great flashes. However, his performance wasn't nearly enough to lead Cleveland to victory. He completed 16 of his 25 passes for 149 yards, a touchdown, and no interceptions.

Taking care of the football was a good aspect of Sanders' performance. He wasn't able to make many big plays, but he didn't look horrible. After the game, head coach Kevin Stefanski announced that Sanders would remain the starter in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans, which will be a much more favorable matchup.

Also, Stefanski spoke out about an incident that occurred during the game between Sanders and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. The two were seen having a heated discussion on the sideline while looking at film.

Here is a video of the incident that occurred between the two players:

“When you’re a family, like we are, you can have your disagreements sometimes,” Stefanski said. “Sometimes they’re for everybody to see, sometimes it is behind closed doors. Like a family, we move on, we talk about it. So I’m not worried about it."

At the end of the day, heated discussions are normal during the course of a game. Every player wants to win and tensions can run high. It's also possible that Jeudy was simply sharing some constructive criticism to the young quarterback.

Regardless of what the issue actually was, Stefanski is not worried by it at all. Sanders and Jeudy are likely just fine.

Going up against the Titans will give the Browns a great opportunity to have a breakout performance. Tennessee has struggled mightily this season and comes into the game with a 1-11 record compared to Cleveland's 3-9 mark.

Right now, ESPN is giving the Browns a 51.4 percent chance of coming out with a win, which would give Sanders a 2-1 record as the starting quarterback in Cleveland.
