Black Friday has been and gone, Cyber Monday is over for another year but Travel Tuesday is officially here – meaning you’ve still got time to bag a bargain.
Budget airline, Ryanair, has launched what they have dubbed an ‘unmissable’ sale, offering 20% off midweek flights to various destinations across Europe.
The lowest prices available start from £13.59, with many flights available for around £15 to popular locations such as Ireland, Spain, Italy and Poland.
However, there is a bit of a catch – it’s a flash sale, so you’ll only have until midnight tonight (December 2) to take advantage of the discounts.

The other catch is that the reduced midweek tickets are only available during a certain period, specifically for travel between December 2 and January 31, 2026.

So it’s only worth it if you’re looking to book a little last-minute getaway to escape the gloomy winter blues. In that case, somewhere like Alicante, Milan or Pisa might be perfect.
Alternatively, there are a number of other spots you can head to like Edinburgh, Krakow, Gdansk and Latvia, some of which will likely feel incredibly festive at this time of year.
The best holiday bargains in Ryanair’s Travel Tuesday sale
The cheapest flight on offer in the sale is from London Stansted to Riga in Latvia, with prices from £13.59 available, departing on January 8.
Skyscanner shows that prices for flights to Riga vary throughout December, with some costing as much as £40. However, they have prices listed from £14 and £15 on select days, so it’s worth considering how much of a saving you’re actually making, before you panic book a trip.
Other cheap flights in the sale include Stansted to Milan from £13.90 and London Gatwick to Alicante, from £14.99.
There’s plenty on offer from £14.99 too, including Stansted to Krakow, Stansted to Edinburgh, Stansted to Pisa, Manchester to Dublin, and East Midlands to Wroclaw.

A Ryanair spokesperson said: ‘Ryanair today announced its unmissable Travel Tuesday sale, offering 20% off midweek flights across its network for travel.
‘Whether you’re looking to escape the winter blues, plan a midweek city break, or simply enjoy a quieter travel experience, Ryanair’s Travel Tuesday sale is the perfect opportunity to book your next adventure at an incredible price.’
This comes after it was revealed that Ryanair had axed its loyalty scheme – because customers were getting too many cheap flights.
The airline’s Prime subscription launched in March and was hailed as a ‘game-changer’ for air travel thanks to benefits like free reserved seats, free travel insurance and access to 12 annual member-exclusive seat sales (one booking per month), all for the price of £79 per year.

When it first launched, the potential savings forecasted were £420 per member if they flew 12 times per year. But it seems it worked a little too well, with Ryanair making a loss.

About 55,000 customers signed up to Prime, which generated £3.9 million (€4.4 million) for the budget airline, but the discounts they received far outweighed this.
‘Our Prime members have received over €6mn (£5.3 million) in fare discounts, so this trial has cost more money than it generates,’ said Ryanair CMO Dara Brady.
‘This level of memberships, or subscription revenue does not justify the time and effort it takes to launch monthly exclusive Prime seat sales for our 55,000 Prime members.’

As such, the scheme is no longer allowing any new members to sign up, but those who have paid for the service will be able to continue using it until October 2026.
