Donald Trump Shares Health Update Amid MRI Questions

President Donald Trump said he believes he's now "sharper" than he was decades ago, pouring cold water on questions surrounding his health after questions were raised around a recent MRI scan.

"You always find something new," Trump joked with reporters during a televised Cabinet meeting. "Like, 'Is he in good health? [Former President Joe] Biden was great, but is Trump in good health?'" the president quipped.

"You do stories about, 'Biden was in wonderful health,' Trump continued. "The guy didn't do a news conference for eight months," he said, after touting his own routine press conferences and interactions with the press. "If I go one day without doing a news conference... 'There's something wrong with the president.'"

"I'll let you know when there's something wrong. There will be someday," Trump said. "That's going to happen to all of us, but right now I think I'm sharper than I was 25 years ago, but who the hell knows... I took my physical. I got all A's, everything."

Trump's comments came after the White House on Monday released new details about a recent MRI taken by the presid ent, describing the results as “perfectly normal” and part of his routine executive physical. According to a summary from Physician to the President Sean P. Barbabella, advanced cardiovascular and abdominal imaging was conducted as a preventive measure common for men in Trump’s age group.
