Next year’s instalment of Pinkpop, which is the world’s longest-running continuous open-air pop festival, is set to run between June 19 and June 21, and will return to the usual spot in Landgraaf in the Netherlands.
AdvertisementToday (November 24), the first wave of names has been confirmed, with Twenty One Pilots set to be the first headliners of the 2026 event, taking to the main stage to close out Friday June 19. The new slot at Pinkpop is announced just days after the group confirmed that they would be headlining at All Points East 2026 as their only UK date of the year.
They’re expected to play fan favourites during their set, as well as new tracks from their eighth and latest studio album, ‘Breach’, which arrived earlier this year.
The Cure will be headlining on Saturday June 21, and the new slot comes following Robert Smith and co. dropping their ‘Songs Of A Lost World’ album at the end of 2024, and going on to play an intimate London gig that is now being turned into a live film.

Since that gig, the band have confirmed that they have recorded 13 songs for a new album – the follow-up to ‘Songs Of A Lost World’, which Smith has been hinting at for over a year. Given the number of festival appearances the band have planned for next summer, it appears that the album may be released in the new year.
RecommendedHeadlining the final night (Sunday June 21) of Pinkpop 2026 is Foo Fighters, who made their return with new singles ‘Today’s Song’ and ‘Asking For A Friend’ earlier this summer.
The slot at Pinkpop comes as Dave Grohl and co. have also announced headline tour dates in Stockholm, Paris, Liverpool and more for next year, and confirmed that they would be hitting the road in the US alongside Queens Of The Stone Age.
Others on the bill for the festival in the Netherlands include Editors, who will perform on June 20, Teddy Swims who will take to the stage on June 19, and Yungblud who will break out his set on June 21.
