Ways to save on Dell laptops, monitors and more in 2025

It’s no secret that good tech comes at a cost, which is why we’ve set out to find the easiest ways to save money at Dell. While you may not always find a Dell discount code, here are some alternative ways to save from our shopping experts.

Up to 35 per cent off in the Black Friday sale

Dell’s Black Friday deals are now live. With up to 35 per cent off across all categories, this is a great opportunity to invest in quality Dell technology without paying full price.

So far, Dell has discounted 10 of its top laptop models. The Dell 16 Plus is reduced by £250 (was £849, now £599, Dell.co.uk), and delivers a spacious creative display, 16GB of RAM and powerful Intel Arc graphics. A great choice for content creators or students.

Gamers aren’t left out, either, with Dell's Alienware lineup featuring impressive Black Friday discounts. The Alienware 16 Aurora gaming laptop offers powerful NVIDIA RTX graphics and currently has £100 off (was £799, now £699, Dell.co.uk). Meanwhile, the Alienware 16X Aurora brings even more power with an Ultra-series Intel processor, giving hardcore gamers some serious horsepower (was £1,799, now £1,549, Dell.co.uk).

The deals are set to keep rolling in until Cyber Monday on 1 December, so keep checking back to see what’s been added.

Up to 25 per cent off in the deals section

We’d recommend making a beeline for the deals section when you start shopping with Dell. The section is divided by product, so you can narrow down your search to laptops, desktops, gaming PCs, monitors and accessories. However, for the most generous discounts, it’s worth taking a look at the “Top deals” tab first.

Shop refurbished with Dell outlet deals

Before you buy a Dell product, it’s worth having a look to see if you could get it cheaper on the Dell outlet. At the time of writing, a refurbished Dell pro 14 laptop was almost £151 cheaper than a new one from the tech retailer’s site.

Like new Dell products, refurbished laptops also come with one-year ‘basic on-site service’, meaning that a technician will come and help to resolve certain issues if you need it. However, bear in mind that you have a legal right for goods to last a reasonable length of time, considering what you paid for them, even if they’re second-hand.

When buying second-hand tech, you also have the right for items that you’ve bought to come as they were described. If there’s an undisclosed fault, you can send your tech back and request a full refund. We’d also strongly recommend paying for purchases over £100 with a credit card, so that you’re protected if things go wrong.

Get £15 off as a Dell Rewards member

The Dell Rewards programme is a free loyalty scheme that gives you 3 per cent back, in the form of points, every time you make a purchase. You can then use these points to get money off future purchases.

Just for signing up, you get 1,500 points, which is worth £15, so it’s worth doing for an extra discount before you make a purchase. After this, it can be difficult to earn enough points to make significant savings. That’s unless you’re buying Dell products regularly.

However, Dell does run regular promotions that enable you to collect more points, so it may be easier to get discounts than it seems in theory. For example, it’s currently offering double points if you spend more than £499. The programme also promises “exclusive discounts” on a range of tech items.

Leverage Dell’s price match guarantee

Dell’s price match guarantee offers an additional way to secure competitive pricing on its electronics and accessories. If you find an identical Dell product available at a lower price from a qualifying UK retailer – for example, Amazon, Currys or Argos – Dell will match the price.

If you find an eligible item, all you have to do is contact Dell via its online chat or call 0800 085 4878 with a link to the item. Dell will check its validity and, if it meets its terms and conditions, will issue you with money off a product if you haven’t purchased it yet, or a refund if you’ve already bought it.

As well as this, if you buy an item from Dell and its price drops within 30 days of receiving an invoice, it’ll refund you the difference. Just copy the link of the Dell product and then use its order support portal to discuss with an agent.

Extra discounts

NHS and armed forces

If you’re an NHS employee or a member of the armed forces, you can get extra discounts on top of the existing savings. While it’s not clear how much of a discount Dell offers, it’s worth taking a look. You can find more information on Dell’s NHS and military forces pages.

Student discount

You can get 10 per cent off on selected products when you register for Dell Rewards and verify your student status. Once you’ve done this, shop Dell’s top deals and your discount should be automatically applied at checkout.
