In a video with more than 5.9 million views on TikTok, owner Yvonne Sjoberg, 34, from NCR, Philippines, revealed what the mix of classic breeds looks like.
The caption said: “Ever heard of a pomsky? That’s me.”
Sjoberg and her partner discovered the breed while searching online for a dog, and eventually purchased Lu from a registered pomsky breeder. What they didn’t expect was that their pet would become a viral sensation.
“We thought she’s so beautiful and cute—it would be a waste if the world didn’t see her,” Sjoberg told Newsweek. “We didn’t expect to go viral at all.”

Describing Lu’s temperament, Sjoberg said the pomsky is “very sweet—she loves cuddles,” adding that she is extremely friendly toward both humans and other dogs.

Lu also has an unexpectedly tidy habit, Sjoberg noted. “Every time she vomits, she goes to the bathroom,” she said.
But what stands out most is the pomsky’s emotional sensitivity. “When you’re crying, she will go to you and stay there until you’re okay.”

The TikTok video showcasing Lu’s striking blue eyes and fluffy coat quickly attracted millions of views, drawing curious viewers who had never heard of the pomsky breed before.
Sjoberg was thrilled that people are enjoying Lu as much as she does. “She’s really just our sweet girl,” she said. “We’re happy the world gets to see her too.”
What Is a Pomsky?
The pomsky is a relatively new breed created by mixing the Siberian Husky with the Pomeranian, combining the Husky’s striking features with the Pomeranian’s compact size. Because the two parent breeds differ greatly in size, pomskies are almost always produced through artificial insemination.
The breed gained widespread popularity through social media, where photos of miniature “Huskies” went viral and sparked interest worldwide. While Pomskies are not recognized as an official breed by major kennel clubs, they continue to develop today through dedicated breeders who aim to stabilize their temperament, appearance, and health across generations.
