How to save on Thorpe Park tickets in 2025
Black Friday deals at Thorpe Park
This year’s Black Friday deal has already landed at Thorpe Park. Book a short break at the Thorpe Shark Cabins and get a free Big Six Coaster Fastrack pass. This pass allows you to skip the long queues at six of the rides at Thorpe Park, including Hyperia, Colossus, Saw and Stealth.
The offer also includes two-day entry to the park, themed overnight accommodation, a buffet breakfast, free parking and 10 per cent off food and merchandise during your stay. Prices start from £63 per person, based on four people sharing, and this deal is only redeemable on stays between the 27th of March and the 20th of June 2026.
If you’re looking to make the most of your thrills, the annual Merlin Pass sale is also part of Thorpe Park’s Black Friday deals. These give you year-round access to Thorpe Park as well as more than 20 other UK attractions, plus exclusive perks like 20 per cent off short breaks, VIP experiences, and savings on in-park dining.
This Black Friday, you can save up to £60 on the Merlin essential pass (was £139, now £79, Thorpepark.com) and up to £40 on the Merlin gold pass (was £239, now £199, Thorpepark.com), making it a smart way to extend the fun well beyond a single visit.
Thorpe Park short break deals
Outside of term-time, overnight stays at Thorpe Park start from £62 per person. As well as enjoying a night in the on-site hotel, you get two days of theme park entry, an hour of fast-track entry to rides, a buffet breakfast, a discount in the gift shops, and more. You can even choose to upgrade to a ride-themed room, including Nemesis Inferno and The Swarm. If anyone in your party is under 1.2m, they’ll get a free ticket, too.
Advanced booking discounts
The early bird catches the worm when it comes to Thorpe Park tickets – by booking in advance, you can get your tickets for up to half the price. You won’t need to worry about the fluctuating British weather, either, as Thorpe Park offers a weather and return guarantee. So if you happen to visit on a day when the weather forces closure or ride availability is affected for an hour or more continuously, you can return for free on selected dates. If you’d rather play it safe, you can take advantage of the pre-booking rate as little as one day before your visit.

Save extra with a Thorpe Park annual pass
If you’re planning more than one trip this year, a Thorpe Park annual pass could be the best way to save. Prices start from £99, giving you plenty of perks and flexibility for repeat visits.
The silver pass offers 150 days of off-peak entry, along with:
- Free parking on visit days
- 20 per cent off overnight stays at the Thorpe Shark Cabins
- 20 per cent off food, drinks and merchandise in the park
If you’d prefer even more freedom, you can upgrade to the gold pass for an extra £40. This gives you 190 days of park entry throughout the year – ideal for those who like to return for major events such as Fright Nights or the summer festivals.
Alternatively, a Merlin annual pass unlocks access to 32 of the UK’s top attractions, including Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Sea Life centres, The London Eye and more. This is a great option for families who like to explore a variety of days out.
£29 tickets with the Thorpe Park student discount
Students can take advantage of exclusive online prices, with day tickets from just £29 when booked in advance – that’s about 55 per cent cheaper than standard on-the-gate prices. Overnight stays are also discounted for students, starting from just £99 for two people.
To redeem this discounted rate, valid student ID must be presented when collecting your tickets or checking into the hotel.
Free Thorpe Park tickets for children
Children under 1.2m tall can get free entry to Thorpe Park. That means younger children, who aren’t quite tall enough for the bigger rides, can still join in the fun.
Alongside its adrenaline-fuelled favourites, the park also caters for younger visitors with a range of child-friendly rides and activities. If you’re wondering what activities they can enjoy on site, here’s a taste of what’s on offer:
- Flying fish – perfect as a first time rollercoaster (minimum 0.9m)
- Mr Monkey’s banana ride – a fun, traditional swinging ship ride (minimum 0.9m)
- Rumba rapids – a family-friendly water ride with mild splashes (minimum 1.1m)
- Zodiac – a spinning ride that defies gravity (children less than 1.4m must be accompanied by an adult)
- Amity beach – a sandy play area with water features (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult)
- The playground – an open space for kids to climb, play and burn off energy
We recommend checking the Thorpe Park height restrictions in advance, to make the most of your day. There is clear signage for children’s rides at Thorpe Park and staff can help direct you to family-friendly areas.
Local residents could get free tickets
If you are lucky enough to live locally to Thorpe Park, you may be eligible for free entry. Those with a KT16, TW18 and TW20 postcode were able to apply for a free ticket (with proof of address) on the residents page earlier this year. This offer ended on 19 Sept 2025 but might come back soon.
Bigger savings with Thorpe Park group tickets
Groups of 10 or more will benefit from booking as a group. Rather than the on-the-door price of £64 per person, your party will get a preferential rate from just £27 per person, saving you more than 50 per cent on the price.
