Rebels athletic director Keith Carter suggested that the program intends to reveal their decision on Kiffin's future on Saturday. The announcement would come one day after No. 6 Ole Miss finishes the regular season against 5-6 Mississippi State in the "Egg Bowl" on Friday.
The Rebels are in a three-way race for Kiffin. Florida and LSU are trying to convince the 50-year-old head coach that the grass is greener outside of Oxford.

The Tigers appear ready to outbid Florida and Ole Miss, as they're reportedly set to offer Kiffin a contract in the ballpark of $98 million for seven years.
On Monday, college football insider Joel Klatt suggested the tide is turning in LSU's favor to land Kiffin. Florida appeared to have the upper hand before. However, "information" Klatt has received makes the Tigers the "frontrunner" to poach Kiffin from Ole Miss.
“I've been all over the map and partly because the information has been all over the map," Klatt said on the Joel Klatt Show on Monday. "There have been moments when I thought he's definitely going to stay at Ole Miss. There's been moments that I have been told he's definitely going to Florida.
"And now there's been moments that I've been told he's definitely going to LSU. That's kind of where the information stands. Pretty reliable that LSU is the frontrunner. And obviously, this is coming to a head because they're announcing when the decision is going to be made... It's after the egg bowl.”
While LSU is the frontrunner on Monday, a lot could change between now and Saturday. Most insiders covering the sport don't believe Kiffin has made up his mind.
Still, the Tigers have to feel like the ball is in their court.
