I don't even know where to begin when it comes to what to recommend. We've got House of the Dragon season 3, Task season 2, The White Lotus season 4 and Lanterns all set to stream in 2026, and that's just scratching the surface.
A bunch of hot HBO shows have got the green light for renewal less than a week ago, so frankly, the Black Friday deals timing couldn't be better. However, I think its movies back catalog is just as satisfying, and there's one in particular that I've got my eye on.

Undoubtedly the film of the year, Sorry, Baby is a must-watch once you've signed up for the basic ads plan. Luckily, the streamer has a deal with A24, meaning they're the first port of digital call when it comes to new A24 movies getting a streaming date.
I won't beat around the bush: Sorry, Baby absolutely broke me the first time I saw it. In Eva Victor's directorial debut, Agnes (Victor) experiences something awful that completely changes her life for good. Her world comes crashing down, but it takes this to realize how stuck she's been in the life she's made for herself.
It's really a story of how to move forward and through the worst of it, and Victor's talents set her up as one to watch. Nothing is overstated here, and the beauty of what Victor is trying to say lies in the movie's subtleties. Agnes is relatable yet distant, extroverted yet masking at all times.
It's a beautiful, worrying on-screen contradiction that will have you questions yourself and the way you've treated people in the past. For me, that's a pretty special viewing experience, achieving something that not many other 2025 movies have even come close to.
