I love a good budget phone that I feel punches well above its weight, and that's true of the Google Pixel 9a. Now, even better, it can be had for less: the Google Pixel 9a is just $399 (was $499) at Amazon US. And in the UK, the Pixel 9a is on sale for £347 (was £499) at Amazon.

Google Pixel 9a: was US$499 now US$399 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼A Google Pixel 9a for $399 is simply a bargain in my opinion. Google's A-series phones have always been compelling devices at full price, but with a cool $100 shaved off the price to bring it back to its lowest price ever, it's hard to beat. Further, you're getting a proper 'AI phone' here with a host of smart features to go alongside its neat design and great cameras.

Google Pixel 9a: was £499 now £347 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼One of the best prices I've seen for the Google Pixel 9a in the UK. Given it's still a fairly new phone with a host of smart software and updates that should last for a year, this deal is hard to beat in the phone arena. I'd go so far as to say this would be the Android phone I'd recommend to most people, particularly with some £150 sliced off the price.
View DealI've long been a fan of Google's Pixel phones, so they are easy to recommend. And at cut prices they are a slam-dunk of a recommendation. I'd suggest moving fast on bot the US and UK deals as I don't think they'll stick around for too long.
But don't take my word on it: check out our Google Pixel 9a review. Senior Editor of Phones Philip Berne wasn't impressed by the 9a's looks (not sure I agree with him there) but did appreciate all the otehr stuff the phone offers: "The Google Pixel 9a is the latest A-series phone from Google, but this year the series takes an ugly turn, and the Pixel 9a doesn’t look like the striking Pixel 9. That aside, it performs well and takes great photos, plus it comes with most, but not all, of the latest Google AI features. It’s a solid bargain phone, if you don’t mind the looks."
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, of course, and I think the Pixel 9a look fine; perhaps a tad utilitarian but I like that. And at a discount price one can look past the looks and get a great smartphone.

While this link leads to a deal on the Indigo color option, the Obsidian and Lemongrass variants are also on sale for the same price. The 256GB version of the Pixel 10 is on sale, too, which is worth considering if you're thinking of holding on to your next phone for more than two years.

Save £50Was £929 now £879 at AO.comRead moreRead less▼The Pixel 10 Pro is a worthy upgrade over the standard Pixel 10 for its better cameras, brighter screen, and higher RAM capacity, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL is the model to go for if you prefer an extra-large display. AO is offering better Black Friday deals on both Pixel 10 Pro models than Amazon at the time of writing, though its stock of the Pixel 10 Pro XL has run dry. As a result, Amazon's still-excellent £999 deal price is your best option for the larger of the two phones.
