The Kansas City Chiefs squeaked out a win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday but it didn't come easy.
The game went into overtime, but the Chiefs closed out of 23-20 win in overtime after rallying from an 11-point deficit thanks to Harrison Butker's fifth field goal of the game. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes also had a lot to do with the victory, throwing for 352 yards and leading three scoring drives on Kansas City's last four possessions.
But on Monday, the Chiefs shared some concerning news about Mahomes.
Kansas City released its Week 13 injury report, and Mahomes was on it with a groin injury. But according to the team, the injury report was an estimation, as the Chiefs "held a walkthrough practice," meaning Mahomes didn't technically miss a true practice.

"So no practice on Monday, and Wednesday will be a walk through… Just one actual day of practice? Yikes," one follower said on X.
"Gotcha. estimations are better than nothing, I guess," another added.
With games against the Dallas Cowboys (Week 13), Houston Texans (Week 14), and Los Angeles Chargers (Week 16), the 6-5 Chiefs can't afford for Mahomes to miss any time as they fight for their playoff lives.
After Sunday's win, Mahomes had glowing words for his team. He said that the defining moment in the game was when Chris Jones stood on the field before overtime and gestured to the fans to get super loud.
"You could feel the energy. I’m telling you. You could feel the energy of the defense, the stadium,” Mahomes said of that special moment, according to The Athletic’s Jesse Newell. "It was kind of, 'We're not going to lose this game. We’re gonna find a way to win."
