Radiohead have performed ‘Climbing Up The Walls’ for the first time since 2018 at their latest show at the O2 in London – check out footage below.

Last night (November 24), Thom Yorke and co. played their third of four shows at The O2, where they pulled out a rare performance of ‘Climbing Up The Walls’ for the first time in seven years.
Advertisement‘Climbing Up The Wall”s return to Radiohead’s setlist came towards the end of their pre-encore set, sandwiched between ‘Let Down’ and ‘Bodysnatchers’. Check out fan-shot footage of ‘Climbing Up The Walls’ below.
After the show came to a close and the night’s setlist was made available, fans not in attendance took to social to share their devastation that they were missing out on the return of ‘Climbing Up The Walls’.

Taken off Radiohead’s seminal ‘OK Computer’, ‘Climbing Up The Walls’ was inspired by Thom’s time working at a mental hospital, and chronicles paranoia and struggling with personal demons. In 2012, the track’s haunting climax was hailed as one ten most goosebump-inducing moments in Radiohead’s discography as Yorke screams out the song’s title.
Other ‘OK Computer’ tracks that have found their way onto Radiohead’s ever-changing setlists so far include ‘Paranoid Android’, ‘Lucky’, ‘Subterranean Homesick Alien’, ‘Karma Police’, ‘Let Down’ and ‘No Surprises’.

Reviewing Radiohead’s first show at the O2 last Friday (November 21), NME‘s Andrew Trendell wrote in a glowing five-star report: “What a show: a visceral energy, a tasteful spectacle, all delivered with a generosity of spirit, Yorke in full rockstar mode as the band trade places to tend to each corner of the venue. For a band once embarrassed by the notion of ‘arena rock’, nobody does it better. A new album and another night like this can’t come soon enough.”
Radiohead are taking a “busking approach” to their current setlists, by playing “any order” of songs they wish, and whittling down their huge catalogue to “about 70 songs”. The band are also performing in the round in the centre of the venue throughout the run of dates.
Radiohead’s tour continues with a final night in London today before they head to Copenhagen and Berlin later this month and into December.
