Nicole Kidman has given an update to her fans about how she is coping, following the news that she is divorcing her husband of 19 years, Keith Urban.
The 58-year-old actress and her country singer partner’s split was announced in September, with sources saying the couple had been living apart since the beginning of summer.
In October, their divorce papers were revealed, and later that month, both Kidman and Urban made public solo appearances.
Now, Kidman has opened up about how she is actually coping post-split, in an interview with Ariana Grande.
‘I’m hanging in there,’ she told Grande for Interview Magazine, hinting at the emotional time in her private life.
She also told the star that she was working on the Practical Magic sequel and felt ‘protected and loved’ by the women in the cast.

‘Sandy Bullock and I, and then Joey King and Maisie [Williams]—we had an incredible cast. A lot of times I don’t have fun when I’m filming because it’s more,’
‘Emotionally draining,’ said Grande.
‘Yeah,’ said Kidman. ‘But I have such a strong relationship with all those women, so I felt protected and loved. It was just very, very safe.’
She also added of the project: ‘To come back to something so many years later and go, “We’re still able to get this movie made at a big big studio like Warner’s,” and that Sandy and I were able to produce it and get it made, is insane.’

In October, a source told People that Kidman was dreading the reaction from the public about the divorce.

The couple tied the knot in June 2006 and have welcomed two daughters together in that time, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
Kidman made her first public appearance a month ago, at the amfAR Gala in Dallas on Saturday, where she presented Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan with the Award of Inspiration.
