It's easy to feel overwhelmed by the Black Friday sales, but if you were hoping to pick up a new vacuum, let me make things simple for you: you should go for the Dreame R20 at $170.99 (was $299.99) at Amazon US, or £186.15 (was £239) at Amazon UK.

That's a new lowest-ever price in both countries, and this is the best cordless vacuum you can buy right now. I recently gathered vacuums from all the leading brands and pitted them against one another in a mega group test, and the Dreame R20 earned the highest overall scores, balancing strong comfort, very solid cleaning performance, and a range of useful advanced features. Oh, and it's also very affordable, even at full price.

There's $129 off the Dreame R20 in the US, which is 43% off list price. Although deals are pretty common on this model, this is an especially strong one – it's the lowest price I have on record. I'd be surprised if we saw prices drop any further on Black Friday itself.

There's over £50 off the R20 cordless, which represents a new lowest-ever price on this vacuum. While discounts are fairly common on this vac, this one is the best I've seen – I'd be surprised if prices dropped lower on Black Friday itself.

Our tester was blown away when he tried out this vacuum for TechRadar's Dreame R20 review. In my recent group test to find the best vacuum it earned the highest overall scores – beating competitors from Shark, Dyson and more. It delivered very solid cleaning on all floor types, it's lightweight, nimble, and comfortable to use, and the battery life is good too. It also boasts the kind of extras usually only found on far pricier vacuums – including an extra cleaning head specifically for hard floors, and automatic suction adjustment based on dirt levels.
