If you’ve been racking up points on your Tesco Clubcard, now is a good time to cash them in – as failure to do so could mean they go to waste.
The supermarket has warned £16.5 million in loyalty vouchers are set to expire at midnight on November 30, and millions across the country could lose out on their hard-earned rewards.
Clubcard vouchers – issued every three months in February, May, August and November – are valid for two years, meaning those issued in November 2023 will be void come December 2025.
They cannot be redeemed or reissued after this date, so if you don’t act before the deadline, they’ll be gone for good.
These vouchers can be used in-store or online to help pay for your shop or for fuel and Tesco Mobile purchases, with 150 points equal to the value of £1.50.
Alternatively, shoppers can double their value by exchanging them at more than 100 partners including PizzaExpress, Alton Towers Resort and Hotels.com – and although you’ll still need to exchange before the expiry date, doing this will give you an extra six months to actually use the reward.

Tesco Group membership and loyalty director, Shama Wilson, commented: ‘We don’t want anyone to miss out on making the most of their Tesco Clubcard Vouchers, and with some great new offers with Clubcard Rewards this really is a great time to use those vouchers up.
‘The value of vouchers expiring is higher than usual this quarter, and if all the vouchers expiring were used for Tesco Tuesdays it would be enough to get 6.6 million cinema tickets at Cineworld.

How do Tesco Clubcard vouchers work?
Clubcard points are collected when shopping in Tesco stores, online, or with Points Partners like Evri and Halfords.
For every £1 spent, members get a point (boosted to two until February 25) which can then be turned into vouchers for money off a Tesco shop or to spend at a Reward Partner, or donated to charity.
You need a minimum of 150 points to request a voucher, which can be done online or via the Tesco app.
What you can spend Tesco Clubcard points on?
If you choose to exchange your points for Tesco vouchers, 150 points is equal to £1.50 to spend in-store or at Tesco filling stations.
