After a no show in last year’s sale, the Xbox Black Friday bargains have already started to drop
Steve HogartyTech critic Tuesday 25 November 2025 12:14 GMT
open image in galleryThe best gaming bargains are just four days away (The Independent)Gamers may remember last year’s Xbox Black Friday deals being pretty underwhelming, but fortunately, this year’s selection is already looking far more promising.
Microsoft has just launched its sale, with up to 95 per cent off games and accessories. But when it comes to getting money off the console itself, third-party retailers are where it’s at, with the likes of Argos, Very and Amazon dropping plenty of deals.
Black Friday is a great time to buy tech in general, with savings on everything from laptops to headphones. So, if you want to browse more offers, the rest of the IndyBest team and I have been busy collating the best savings on tried-and-tested products in our dedicated Black Friday shopping guides.
If you’re after consoles, games, controllers and the highly coveted Xbox Game Pass membership, consider this your Black Friday gaming crib sheet. I’ll be updating prices and adding new deals all the way up to Cyber Monday, so let’s hope this year’s reductions are generous.
