If you're looking for an excuse to boot up Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, then the new Reclamation update is for you. Not only is it out now, and absolutely free, but it includes a number of boons such as six new hero weapons, eight new pieces of armor, and a new PvE mission.
The free update includes the usual gameplay improvements, but also offers plenty of new stuff to dig into. The addition of the PvE Reclamation Operation is the star of the show, and lets you board the derelict Wrath of Espandor and fight Tyranid Prime.

New hero weapons include Bolt Sniper Rifle, Heavy Bolter, Instigator Bolt Carbine, Heavy Bolt Pistol, Thunder Hammer, and the very snazzy looking Power Fist for those who like slamming people into the ground. These weapons as well as four different helmets and pauldrons are redeemable via accolades.

There are also new battlefield conditions for Stratagems Mode. The trailer offers a sneak peek of Migraine which causes enemies to explode, damaging those around them when you land a headshot. All of these changes are out now for PC players.
Those who have purchased the second season pass can also grab two new DLC packs full of skins. The first is the Blood Angels Champion Pack, which includes a tactical champion skin, a Blood Angels jump pack skin, and a chainsword weapon skin. The Salamanders Cosmetic Pack is focused on armor sets.
We don't need reasons to play Space Marine 2, but a new operation and boss are always welcome.
I highly recommend these Warhammer 40K Battleforces if you want a new army for Christmas, and they're $37 off right now.
