Train cancellations have caused ‘biblical scenes’ of chaos at Euston station.
Two trains broke down between Rugby and Northampton/Milton Keynes, with West Coast Main Line apologising to travellers earlier today.
The lines have reopened but trains may still be cancelled or severely delayed, National Rail have said.
Major disruption is still expected until 6pm.
Euston has also become very busy due to the cancellations, the station warned.
