Matter-enabled smart devices can be connected to one another via a central hub, which means you can mix and match your smart home products, but if you want everything to work smoothly, then we suggest sticking with just one system.
We also wouldn't recommend a Matter-enabled setup to Apple users because it’s not certified for HomeKit use, but its affordability makes it an excellent starting point for a smart light setup.
