You also get double the RAM at 16GB (compared with, for example, a base Air M3), although the 256GB of storage feels a little paltry in 2025. Still, we rated it highly in our MacBook Air M2 review, thanks to the stylish design, clear display, impressive performance, and long 18-hour battery life.

This configuration comes with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, but you can double the storage to 1TB for an extra $200.

The main difference between the Pro 3 and Pro 2 is the addition of heart rate sensing and Live Translation using Apple Intelligence, and the ANC is vastly improved, as our audio editor covered at length in her AirPods Pro 3 review – which is no small statement given that the ANC in the AirPods Pro 2 was already excellent.
