My go-to laptop for everyday work is the 14-inch MacBook Pro. Aside from its incredible hardware, one of the things I love most about it is its compact form factor. It fits neatly into my rucksack and can be used in any public space with no trouble at all.
Of course, not everyone wants to shell out that amount of money for a laptop. So, if you'd like a more affordable Windows alternative, then I'd recommend the Dell 14 Plus from Dell for £599 (was £849). That's an impressive £250 discount for the 4.5-star-rated laptop.
Today's best Dell laptop deal
Dell 14 Plus Laptop: was £849 now £599 at Dell Technologies UKWith an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, you're getting a whole lot of hardware in a compact case. You can opt for a higher spec by customising it on the Dell website, but we think most users won't need to. For under £600, this is one laptop deal you won't want to miss.
View DealIn our Dell 14 Plus review, we not only rated the laptop 4.5 out of five stars but also praised its great performance, fantastic price, portability, and solid battery life. This is a laptop that performs well across the board.
No wonder we said it "offers possibly the best value for its price range of any Windows laptop on the market right now." That was true at its full price. Just imagine how much more true that statement is with the £250 discount.
We'd recommend the Dell 14 Plus to anyone who works on low-demand workflows rather than high-end creatives and serious gamers. If you use office applications and the web for a lot of your work, then this Dell laptop will be perfect for you.
