Pocketpair, the developer and publisher behind Palworld, is determined to use its power and success for good. As the company's monster collect-'em-up continues to thrive, it’ll be using the additional funding and resources generated from Palworld to uplift other worthwhile releases, like a co-op survival game involving giant rats.
John 'Bucky' Buckley, communications director and publishing manager at Pocketpair, said as much on Twitter. "We're going to keep leveraging the success of Palworld to help cool people make cool games," he said. He then goes on to spotlight a particular release Pocketpair is publishing, Vision Quench.

Anyway, we’re going to keep leveraging the success of Palworld to help cool people make cool games. Like Vision Quench, which is made by 3 young wizards in the US. It’s about wizards searching underground supermarket dungeons for goop or something. It’s fun. pic.twitter.com/QZ4v7kgcUBNovember 27, 2025
Vision Quench is a more fantastical take on the looter shooter, from studio WizMUD Games, with players banding together to explore the mazes of a gigantic dungeon, taking on whatever terrors emerge in the name of acquiring as much treasure as possible. The footage Buckley shares includes the characters trying to deal with gigantic rodents attacking them in close quarters, leading to a grenade going off in a doorway.
It genuinely does look very fun, and if it's an example of the kind of curation Pocketpair is going for as a publisher, it sets a strong precedent. That said, maybe the next one could involve less terrifying enemies? Just a suggestion!
