In a viral Threads post, a dog owner revealed what happened after they took their 10 year old pup to the groomers for the first time in her life – and pictures of the results have melted hearts among social media users.

The heartwarming post shared on Thursday under the username @sueannspagirl shows the small pup before and after going to the groomer's, and she looks unrecognizable.

In the before picture, the fur in her ears is hanging down, and her coat is overgrown throughout her body, making her look older than she is. In the second picture, however, her coat his trimmed and the fur in her ears is cut, giving her a more youthful appearance.

“She’s 10, and it’s the first time I’ve asked the groomer to trim her ears all the way up, I think I’m in Love! (which do you prefer),” the caption read.

Additionally, technological adoption in grooming equipment and tools is rising as pet owners seek higher-quality, more efficient options.

The video quickly went viral on social media and it has so far received over 59,300 views and 7,800 likes on the platform.

One user, Amy.odell.79, said: “I’m not convinced this is the same dog. Ears are long in first pic and cropped ears on 2nd pic. That can’t be accomplished by grooming.”

Bonlowe555 wrote: “She looks years younger with her ears trimmed. I wish a trim was all it took for me to look half my age.”

Another user, Dellr04, commented: “She's too cute either way.”
