By James BrizuelaShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberThe Miami Dolphins are currently 4-7 on the season, and the team is aiming to continue their win streak. After consecutive wins over the Buffalo Bills and Washington Commanders, Miami is coming off a Week 12 bye.

With the Dolphins getting healthier, the team could be getting back two offensive stars. Head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed both players could be activated off IR ahead of their crucial game against the New Orleans Saints, both of which will be huge for Tua Tagovailoa.
Should the Dolphins take down the Saints, they will improve to 5-7 on the season and be a step closer to a wild card spot in the AFC playoff picture. Granted, many things would have to go the team's way, as teams that end the season at 10-7 often struggle for a postseason berth.
That said, the Dolphins have a soft schedule ahead, as they take on the Saints, followed by the New York Jets. Miami's Week 15 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on "Monday Night Football" could loom large in terms of being the deciding factor for their playoff hopes.

The Dolphins should have a good chance at beating all three opponents, especially starting with the Saints. Per McDaniel, the team could be getting back star offensive lineman Austin Jackson and tight end Darren Waller.

Jackson suffered a significant toe injury that has kept him sidelined since Week 1, but he could be back and would greatly help to solidify the Dolphins' offensive line. Protecting Tagovailoa is paramount to the team's success, and Jackson is one of their better linemen.
Waller was activated after Week 3, and began to emerge as a huge red zone target for Tagovailoa. The former New York Giants star picked up four touchdowns in four games, leading many to believe he could become a huge playmaker.
Unfortunately, Waller suffered a pectoral injury in Week 6, and that led to multiple games missed. The good news is surgery was not required, and McDaniel has confirmed he could also be activated off IR for the Saints game.
The Dolphins have been solid the last two games, and will look to extend their winning streak against the Saints. They can do so even more should Jackson and Waller return from IR.
