The 27-year-old American shared the news on social media with a series of glamorous photos, sparking excitement among fans and fellow athletes.
Korda, who has long kept her personal life private, did not disclose many details about her fiancé, but multiple outlets indicated she's engaged to Casey Gunderson. Her sister Jessica Korda, also an LPGA star. playfully commented online: “Sorry boys, she’s off the market.”
Naturally, messages of best wishes were quick to follow. Korda's Instagram post received 50,000 reactions in just one hour, with comments from numerous personalities and institutions in the golf world.

The announcement comes at a moment of celebration for the Korda family. Just weeks earlier, her younger brother Sebastian Korda, an ATP tennis star, announced his engagement to Ivana Nedved. The couple, who have been together since 2021, shared the news on Instagram with the caption “Forever and then some”. Ivana, daughter of former Ballon d’Or winner Pavel Nedved, reacted to Nelly's happy news with the following comment:
