By Evan MasseyShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberAaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers are headed into a massive Week 13 showdown against the Buffalo Bills. After losing to the Chicago Bears last week, the Steelers badly need to work their way back into the win column this week.
At one point earlier this season, the AFC North division looked like was going to be Pittsburgh's. Now, the Steelers are simply fighting to remain at the top of the division race. The Baltimore Ravens have come on strong, although they did just lose to Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving Day.
Heading into this week's clash with the Bills, the status of Rodgers has been a major question mark.

Rodgers has been dealing with a fracture in his wrist. He missed last week against the Bears, but the expectation was that he would return to the field against Buffalo. A final decision has now been made on his status.
...According to head coach Mike Tomlin, as shared by ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, Rodgers will not have an injury designation for this week's game. The future Hall of Fame quarterback will be back on the field for the Steelers.
"Steelers HC Mike Tomlin told reporters that Aaron Rodgers — who missed last week’s game with a fracture in his left wrist — will not have an injury designation for Sunday’s game vs. the Bills and the veteran QB is good to go," Schefter wrote on X.
So far this season, Rodgers has played well for Pittsburgh. In 10 games played, the 41-year-old quarterback has completed 66.4 percent of his pass attempts for 1,969 yards, 19 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
Throughout his first year with the Steelers, Rodgers has looked to be rejuvenated. He has been having fun and enjoying his time in Pittsburgh. There have even been some hints that he could consider returning for one more year.

Regardless of what the future has in store for Rodgers, this week is extremely important. If the Steelers want to take a big step in the right direction towards the playoffs, beating the Bills will be very important.
Pittsburgh and Buffalo are scheduled to kick off their matchup at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon. Fans will be able to tune in to watch the game on CBS.
