It's go-time if you're looking for an upgrade at one of the nation's biggest (and best) carriers. Today's T-Mobile Black Friday deals are offering some of the most impressive discounts I've seen so far in 2025 across a wide range of phones and plans - including the iPhone 17, Galaxy S25, and much more.

Highlights include a free iPad and Apple Watch alongside the iPhone 17 Pro; a rare deal indeed from T-Mobile. There's also the option to bundle four iPhone 17 for free alongside the carrier's Essentials plan, which is quite possibly the best Black Friday phone deal for families right now. If you're more into Android, then the good news is that you can get similar discounts on Google and Samsung devices, too.

As someone who tracks the best T-Mobile deals all year round, I can tell you that today's Black Friday offerings are definitely a notch above what we usually see. Of course, to get the biggest discounts you do need plans and trade-ins, so I've made sure to include all the various information - including some buying advice further down the page.

Apple iPhone 17: four devices for free on an unlimited plan (no trade) at T-MobileT-Mobile's Black Friday special on the iPhone 17 is exactly what I expected. Right now, you can get four iPhone 17 for free on an unlimited data plan without the usual trade-in criteria. By itself, that doesn't sound ground-breaking, but the real magic here is in the details. Plan eligibility for this deal includes the carrier's entry-level 'Essentials' plan, which comes out at just $100 per month for four lines. Yep, that means you can get four free iPhone 17 on four lines that average out at just $25/mo each.

Apple iPhone 17 Pro: free with a trade-in, plus free iPad and Apple Watch at T-MobileQuite possibly the best T-Mobile deal of the entire year for single-line users. You can currently get the excellent iPhone 17 Pro for free with a trade-in and new unlimited line at the carrier, alongside the option to bundle in a free iPad and Apple Watch. You rarely see freebies like these at T-Mobile (unlike other carriers), but note that you do need to take out cellular lines on those accessories. So, even if they're free upfront, you're still paying extra per month on your plan.

Samsung Galaxy S25: four devices for free on an unlimited plan (no trade) at T-MobileAnd, if you prefer Android, then the good news is that you can get that exact same deal on the excellent Samsung Galaxy S25. That means four devices for free when you sign-up for a new unlimited data plan. Again, on the entry-level Essentials plan you're paying just $25/mo per month per line for four lines here. Note, if you want a higher-end device, then you can also get $800 off per device on the Galaxy S25 Ultra (doesn't make them free, but it does make them cheaper).

Google Pixel 10: free with a new line, plus free Pixel Buds 2a at T-MobileHere's a good deal for both switchers and existing customers. Both are eligible to get a free Google Pixel 10 right now with a new line on an Experience Beyond plan and the carrier is also throwing in a free pair of Pixel Buds 2a. Note that no trades are needed here, but that's still an option if you don't want to go for the higher-end Beyond plan.

Apple iPhone Air: free with a new unlimited line at T-MobileThe iPhone Air is the least popular device in the new range - perhaps, that's why this Black Friday T-Mobile deal is so good today. Right now, no trade-ins are needed at all to get this device (which is still valued $1,099) for free on a new unlimited data line at the carrier. Note, however, that this particular deal is exclusive to new customers.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: free with a new unlimited line at T-MobileIn terms of outright value, T-Mobile deals on the Galaxy S25 Edge might just be the best on the carrier's site right now. No trade-ins are currently needed to get the device for free with a new line, and interestingly, this promotion is eligible on both the Beyond and Next plans. That means it's possible to get this device for free on a slightly cheaper plan without a trade right now.

Apple iPhone 17For the first time in a few generations, we recommend the standard iPhone as 'the best iPhone for most people'. It's a little boring, a little safe, but we can't deny just how good value this particular iteration is. For once, the standard iPhone isn't really the poor relation with its crisp 6.3-inch display, excellent chipset, and healthy 256GB capacity. The only downside? It lacks a few of the higher-end camera features of the Pro devices.

Apple iPhone 17 Pro MaxIf you're going big, then go all the way, we say. The latest iPhone 17 Pro Max is just an incredible device with a (somewhat) justified price tag. The device features the best iPhone cameras we've ever seen, a fresh design, a huge battery, and the astoundingly quick A19 chipset. It's the ultimate iPhone for sure, although you'll have to decide whether all these 'nice-to-haves' are worth the premium versus the standard model.

How do I save as much cash as possible?

As with other deals at major carriers, the biggest discounts at T-Mobile are nearly always tied to either a trade-in rebate or a new line on an unlimited plan. I really don't see this changing for the upcoming Black Friday deals.

You might find a few upfront discounts on prepaid options for cheaper phones, but all the big iPhones, Google Pixel, and Samsung Galaxy device deals will be tied to a plan for sure.

Because of this, you'll probably want to go into this year's Black Friday deals at T-Mobile armed with an idea of what type of plan you want to go for. Note that the biggest discounts will almost certainly be locked behind the higher-end Experience Beyond or Go5G Next plans, which can cost an eye-watering $100 per month for a single line.

If I were looking to upgrade my phone, the first thing I'd do is add up my total costs over the duration of a 24-month plan. You can then, of course, subtract your various Black Friday discounts from that total amount. Note that T-Mobile always throws in your third line free, so that's worth bearing in mind if you're a multi-line user.
