JBL's Bar 1000 MK2 is getting a huge 25% discount in Best Buy's Black Friday sale. The Bar 1000 MK2 is a 7.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar system with completely wireless, detachable rear speakers that dock with the soundbar to recharge. In our JBL Bar 1000 MK2 review, we noted how this system did a "great job of putting you in the middle of the action." JBL's soundbar is on the pricey side, but this $300 discount in Best Buy's Black Friday deal makes it considerably more affordable.

The Bar 1000 MK2 rivals the best Dolby Atmos soundbar systems like the Samsung HW-Q900F in its ability to put you right in the middle of the action – something we noted in our JBL Bar 1000MK2 review.

Like the Samsung, the Bar 1000 MK2 features 7.1.4 channels and features completely wireless, detachable rear speakers that dock with the main soundbar to recharge. A 15-inch-tall subwoofer delivers powerful bass, and a trio of HDMI inputs with 4K/HDR passthrough let you connect a range of other components.

The JBL Bar 1000 MK2 is actually priced in the same range as other premium soundbars, such as the Sonos Arc Ultra, but unlike that model, it comes with wireless surround sound speakers and a subwoofer. You’d have to pay considerably more money to add those components to the Sonos, while the JBL arrives with everything you need for a complete Dolby Atmos home theater sound system.

This deal is categorically one of the best I've seen for Black Friday. Although the Samsung HW-Q800F's typical cost is listed at around $750, it actually launched at $1,099, meaning you're getting it for around half price here. This model is the best soundbar and sub combo I've tested here at TechRadar. It plates up rumbling bass, impeccable dialogue clarity, and phenomenal Atmos effects. For less than $550, you really couldn't ask for much more.
