The rapper's Pete & Thomas Foundation also provided other essential items to those in need in her home state

Megan Thee Stallion has provided Thanksgiving meals to nearly 2,000 families in Texas.

The rapper’s Pete & Thomas Foundation partnered with Walmart earlier this week to provide meals and essential items to families in her home state.
AdvertisementAhead of Thanksgiving on Thursday (November 27), Megan hosted a Turkey Drive in Dallas, where she and her organisation distributed turkeys, vegetables, sides, desserts, and $50 Walmart gift cards to more than 1,200 families.
Earlier in the week, the foundation also provided a grant to a local church in Megan’s hometown of Houston, which went on to distribute turkeys to over 500 families.
The Pete & Thomas Foundation was founded in 2022 to honour Megan’s late parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete III. The nonprofit organisation aims to “uplift women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston and beyond”, per their website.

In other news, Megan’s single ‘Lover Girl’, released on October 24, brought rap back to the US top 40 following a two-week absence, which marked the first time the genre hadn’t featured on the chart since 1990.
Recommended‘Lover Girl’ follows on from Megan Thee Stallion’s other 2025 single ‘Whatever’, which was released in April. The track arrived on the heels of the rapper’s performances at this year’s Coachella. Both songs are expected to feature on her next album, ‘Megan: Act III’.
Little is known about the upcoming album, but Megan did share earlier this year that she would love to collaborate with Doechii for the LP.
In a glowing five-star review of last year’s ‘Megan: Act II’, NME wrote: “Megan confirms why she’s “the baddest bitch out right now” once again. Despite all the adversity that has plagued her in recent years, she firmly stands atop the rap world as the princess of rap, gazing down from her pedestal while polishing her tiara – maybe there’s a coronation on the horizon very soon.”
