Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers sustained a fracture in his left non-throwing wrist in the second quarter of a 34-12 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11.

He was forced to miss a Week 12 showdown against the Chicago Bears - a team he dominated for years during his illustrious career with the Green Bay Packers. After missing the 31-28 loss to Chicago, Rodgers is set to make his return to the Steelers starting lineup on Sunday, Nov. 30 against the Buffalo Bills.

"He was a full participant today with no designation for the game. So it's all systems go," head coach Mike Tomlin said about his quarterback before revealing what led to the decision. "Just more reps certainly, but certainly it's another week. And so I'm sure there's more comfort there -- not only in him, but in the medical experts."

While Rodgers is set to return from his injury, he'll have a new left tackle protecting his blindside. Just a day before facing off against the Bills, Pittsburgh placed starting left tackle Broderick Jones on injured reserve after he suffered a neck injury in the loss to the Bears.

Jones will miss the next four games.

Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith previously said the team would need to "problem solve" in order to keep Rodgers healthy.

"It's going to be a day by day with Aaron," Smith said. "Those things are communications. He's a veteran, same as last week, and we'll see how the week goes. Again, that's other things that you can problem solve. There's a lot of ways to do that. You work around guys. ... If a guy needs help and protection, may have a clipped wing or something, is out there, depending on the matchup, there's always things you can do to try to help players if they're playing and there's something you're trying to work around."

That will certainly be the case without Jones in the lineup.
