Athens Photo Research Center – One Year Program: The Photographic ConditionThe APhRC offers a hybrid year-long curriculum with in-person workshops, online lectures, and studio visits. Tutors include Laia Abril, Joan Fontcuberta, Susan Meiselas, Oluremi Onabanjo, and Taryn Simon, among others. Sharpe-Walentas Studio ProgramThe Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program is currently accepting applications for its 2026–2027 residency period. Ucross – Fall 2026 Artist ResidenciesExperience the majestic High Plains on a 20,000-acre ranch in Wyoming. U-M Stamps School of Art & Design – Roman J. Witt Residency ProgramOpen to established and emerging artists, this program awards one residency each academic year, offering a $20,000 honorarium, housing, studio space, and the University of Michigan’s renowned contemporary Institute for the Humanities gallery as an installation and project space. Houston Center for Contemporary Craft – 2026–27 Artist ResidencyArtists selected for three- to 12-month residencies receive 24/7 access to studio space, cultural and professional development opportunities, a $1,000 monthly stipend, and the opportunity to give an artist talk.Deadline: February 1, 2025 | crafthouston.org
The Laundromat Project – Create Change ResidencyThis two-year program supports the development of participatory creative projects by NYC artists of color working within their communities. Utah Museum of Contemporary Art – Artist-in-Residence ProgramThis is the only long-term artist residency designed specifically to meet the needs of Utah artists.
