Athens Photo Research Center – One Year Program: The Photographic ConditionThe APhRC offers a hybrid year-long curriculum with in-person workshops, online lectures, and studio visits. Tutors include Laia Abril, Joan Fontcuberta, Susan Meiselas, Oluremi Onabanjo, and Taryn Simon, among others. Sharpe-Walentas Studio ProgramThe Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program is currently accepting applications for its 2026–2027 residency period. Ucross – Fall 2026 Artist ResidenciesExperience the majestic High Plains on a 20,000-acre ranch in Wyoming. U-M Stamps School of Art & Design – Roman J. Witt Residency ProgramOpen to established and emerging artists, this program awards one residency each academic year, offering a $20,000 honorarium, housing, studio space, and the University of Michigan’s renowned contemporary Institute for the Humanities gallery as an installation and project space. Houston Center for Contemporary Craft – 2026–27 Artist ResidencyArtists selected for three- to 12-month residencies receive 24/7 access to studio space, cultural and professional development opportunities, a $1,000 monthly stipend, and the opportunity to give an artist talk.Deadline: February 1, 2025 | crafthouston.org

The Laundromat Project – Create Change ResidencyThis two-year program supports the development of participatory creative projects by NYC artists of color working within their communities. Utah Museum of Contemporary Art – Artist-in-Residence ProgramThis is the only long-term artist residency designed specifically to meet the needs of Utah artists. Tate – Call for Papers: Whistler’s FinishTate Papers is seeking submissions to a special edition of the journal celebrating the conservation research project Whistler’s Finish. Museum of the Moving Image – 2025 Marvels of Media FestivalAre you an autistic media-maker or do you know someone who is? The Burlington Magazine – Travel Bursaries to Study European DrawingsEmerging art historians can apply for travel funding to visit major collections around the world to study works of Western art on paper from the Renaissance to 1900. Virginia A. Groot Foundation – 2026 Groot Grant Application for SculptorsFor over 30 years, the Virginia A. Groot Foundation has supported sculptors across all forms and materials, helping them dedicate time and resources to their creative practice. Artists & Mothers GrantThis grant supports artists who identify as mothers at an inflection point in their careers.
