By Jenni Fink and Jenna SundelShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberFormer Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah will be released from the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, on December 10, according to People. Shah has been serving a prison sentence since February 2023.
Shah was originally sentenced to 6.5 years in prison after pleading guilty in a telemarketing fraud scheme. She's had her sentence reduced several times, including one year taken off her sentence in March 2023 and an eight-month reduction in October 2024. Her sentence was reduced again in January and August, moving her new release to August 2026, before Friday's announcement she would be released on December 10.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons has said Shah's reductions have been due to her good behavior, participation in prison programs and starting to make restitution payments to victims.
