After sputtering to a 2-3 start, the Timberwolves have won eight out of their last 10 and six of their last seven, with their most recent win coming over the lowly Washington Wizards. In the 120-109 victory, Julius Randle led the team with 32 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, with Naz Reid coming off the bench to add 28 points and five rebounds. The Wolves had a commanding 71-46 lead at the half, but went ice cold in the second half, shooting just 26.7% from the 3-point line and 55% from the foul stripe, leading to the more reasonable final spread.

Similar to Minnesota, the Suns started slowly, losing four of their first five games. Since then, they’ve also won eight of their last 10 and six of their last seven, with the lone loss coming against the Atlanta Hawks, where the Suns coughed up 47 points in the fourth quarter. In their most recent game, the Suns traveled to Portland and came out with a 127-110 victory, with Devin Booker and Collin Gillespie leading the team with 19 points each.
