After entering the season with playoff aspirations, Boise State sits in a three-way tie for third in the Mountain West with a 4-2 conference record and a 6-4 record overall. Meanwhile, Colorado State has a 1-5 Mountain West record and is just 2-8 overall on the season.
Colorado State has lost four in a row, including last week’s 20-17 loss on the road against New Mexico. Darius Curry threw for 248 yards and two touchdowns, but he was picked off three times. The Rams’ only wins this season are a 49-21 win over conference foe Fresno State and a 21-17 win over FCS program Northern Colorado.
Boise State has lost two in a row, ending any hope for a bounce-back finish to the year that got the Broncos positioned to steal a playoff bid. The offense has managed just seven points in each of the losses, including last week’s 17-7 defeat against San Diego State. The team played that game without starting quarterback Maddux Madsen, which accounts for the low offensive output.
This is an excellent college football matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
