The Minnesota Vikings (4–6) head into this NFC North showdown having lost four of their last five games, and their playoff hopes are feeling fragile. Their offense has struggled to be consistent, especially with rookie QB J.J. McCarthy, whose completion rate is among the lowest of starting QBs this season. Justin Jefferson remains a game wrecker, but it has been a struggle to get him the ball in recent weeks. On defense, linebacker Blake Cashman continues to make plays. He’s logged four straight games with 10 or more tackles, anchoring a unit that needs to keep Minnesota in games.
Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers (6–3–1) come into this game looking to build off a recent win. Their offense is led by Jordan Love, who has shown flashes of big-play potential but has lacked consistency. And while Green Bay’s defense has been solid overall, the injuries are piling up on both sides: linebacker Quay Walker is doubtful, which could weaken their second level, and Josh Jacobs is questionable. Historically, this rivalry tilts in Green Bay’s favor: the Packers lead the all-time series 66–60–3.
