By Joe EdwardsShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberThree products sold on Amazon have been recalled amid health and safety concerns, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced.
Why It Matters
The three products were recalled due to the risk of serious injury or death, the CPSC cautioned.
What To Know
The products impacted by the recalls are the following:
Anzmtosn Magnet Fidget Spinner Sets: About 490 units of this product were recalled for violating mandatory toy safety standards. The sets include loose, high-powered magnets that can be ingested by children, the CPSC said. Swallowed magnets can attract inside the digestive tract, leading to perforations, twisting, blockage, blood poisoning, or even death, the agency warned. No injuries have been reported as of November 20, the CPSC said. The products were sold on Amazon from December 2024 to June 2025 for approximately $15.
...Demlar MoonSoll and Magic Chems Fuel Bottles: Some 18,200 bottles of ethanol fuel lack legally required flame mitigation devices, “posing a deadly risk of flash fire,” according to the CSPC. “The fuel containers also fail to meet the federal safety regulation for deceptive disclaimers required by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) because they claim the contents are ‘Non-Toxic,’” the agency added. The recall applies to bottles sold between May and July 2025 for $16-$32. No injuries had been reported as of November 20.
...Mallimoda Children’s Pajama Sets: About 2,100 children’s pajama sets have also been recalled for not meeting “mandatory standards,” posing a risk of severe injuries or deadly burns to children, the CPSC said. The long-sleeved button-up pajamas, sold in multiple color variations and sizes, were available from May 2021 through October 2025 for about $31. Parents should cut the pajamas in half and email a photograph as proof of destruction to Mallimoda to receive a refund, the agency said, which added that no injuries have been reported.
...Newsweek contacted Anzmtosn, Demlar, and Mallimoda for comment via email on Sunday.
What People Are Saying
CPSC said regarding the fidget spinner set recall: “This recall involves Anzmtosn Magnet Fidget Spinner Sets. Each set contains 15 pieces and comes with four iridescent oval-shaped magnets, eight iridescent cuboidal-shaped magnetic stones, one red and yellow disk-shaped metal fidget spinner, one winged metal fidget spinner, and one multicolored infinity fidget cube. The set comes with a black fabric-lined storage case. The batch number, CCA06582, is printed on the back label of the packaging.”
The CPSC said in a recall notice for the fuel bottles: “This recall involves Demlar’s bottles of MoonSoll-branded ethanol and Magic Chems-branded bioethanol fuel, used for tabletop fire pits, fireplaces, stoves and burners. The clear fuel bottles have a red or green cap. They were sold individually or as a pack of three and in 500-milliliter and 1,000-milliliter capacities. The brand name and capacity are printed on the front of the bottle’s label.”
The CPSC said of the pajama sets recall: “The recalled pajama sets consist of a long-sleeved, button-up shirt with a front pocket and matching pants. The pajamas are trimmed with black piping and have black buttons. The pajama sets were sold in gray/pink, blue, gray/purple, and light green in sizes 3/4T through 13/14 years. ‘Cotton 100%’ and care instructions are printed on the sewn-in side-seam label.”
...What Happens Next
For the fidget spinner sets, the CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using them, keep them out of children’s reach, and discard them. “To receive a full refund, consumers should send a photo of the disposal to Anzmtosn via email at [email protected],” it said.
For the fuel bottles, the CPSC said customers should immediately stop using them, place them out of reach of children, and contact Delmar for a full refund.
