If you've been into gaming laptops for as long as I have, you'll know about the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. This is one of the best gaming laptops I've tested so far and has sat at the forefront of slimline portable machines almost as long as the Razer Blade, often with far more grunt under the hood. That's why I've been watching Black Friday gaming laptop deals so closely over the last few weeks. Finally, we have an offer worth screaming from the rooftops.
An RTX 5060 Zephyrus G14 is now down to $1,299.99 at Best Buy, a full $500 off the $1,799.99 MSRP. I was keeping a close eye on this machine just a few weeks ago when it dipped down to $1,449.99, now we're even further down the price scale.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 RTX 5060 gaming laptop | $1,799.99 $1,299.99 at Best BuySave $500 - The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 has sailed down to $1,299.99 at Best Buy this week - that's a serious advancement on the $1,449 sales price I was seeing over the last few weeks. That's a $500 saving all in all, on a solid RTX 5060 OLED spec.
<p><em><strong>Specs: <em>AMD Ryzen 9 270 | RTX 5060 | 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD | 120Hz 3K OLED display<p><em><strong>Featured in: <a href="https://www.gamesradar.com/best-gaming-laptops-compared/"><em>Best gaming laptops<p><em><strong>Read more: <a href="https://www.gamesradar.com/hardware/laptops/asus-rog-zephyrus-g14-2025-review-you-dont-need-to-be-big-to-be-mighty/"><em>Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 reviewView DealYes, you can find cheaper RTX 5060 gaming laptops on sale this Black Friday - but not much cheaper. The lowest I've seen one of these rigs go is $999 on an HP Omen 16 at Best Buy. You're not getting this luxury build quality or 3K OLED display included in that price, though. For an extra $300 the G14 is well worth the boost, especially if you travel regularly.
Should you buy the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14?
The 2025 Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is the best 14-inch gaming laptop I've tested so far. If you're after one of these more compact machines, it's likely because you need to travel with your setup pretty regularly. If you're after a work / play hybrid, its sleek design, solid performance, and gorgeous display are going to serve you particularly well.
The G14 stretches further up the GPU scale than most 14-inchers, with RTX 5080 options up for grabs. That's why it sneaks into the top spot when pitted directly against the 2025 Razer Blade 14.
This is an RTX 5060 configuration, though, which complicates things slightly. Razer has its own mid-range Blade 14s on sale as well right now. I found these to be slightly more slick in their designs and their displays are punchier to boot. An RTX 5060 model comes in at $1,449.99 on Razer's site right now, $850 off the $2,299.99 MSRP.

Razer Blade 14 RTX 5060 | $2,299.99 $1,449.99 at RazerSave $850 - The Razer Blade 14 starts out life at a much higher MSRP than the Zephyrus, so this $850 discount is only taking us down to $1,449.99 this week. That's still a fantastic offer overall, though.
<p><em><strong>Specs: <em>AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 | RTX 5060 | 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD | 120Hz QHD+ OLED displayView DealThere's $150 between the two, so who wins where?
The Razer Blade 14 is slimmer, with a better screen (though both run with a 120Hz refresh rate at similar resolutions). The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 packs a punchier, more energetic keyboard with a lighter, more personalized aesthetic overall.
If you're going for the best overall value, the G14 is ahead with its lower price and slightly thicker chassis (that means your components have a little more space to breathe and run). If you want the best build quality and display, it's worth springing the extra for the Blade.
