By Evan MasseyShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberThe Green Bay Packers handled their business in Week 12, defeating the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings by a final score of 23-6. Defensively, the Packers took advantage of the struggles that second-year quarterback JJ McCarthy has had.
Only giving up six points is a major feat in and of itself. Green Bay also recorded two interceptions, recovered a fumble on special teams, and sacked McCarthy five teams.
All game long, McCarthy faced relentless pressure from Micah Parsons and company. Unfortunately, he also suffered an injury during the game. Following the loss, the Vikings announced that McCarthy had entered concussions protocol, putting his status for Week 13 in doubt.

With the news that McCarthy is in concussion protocol being released, one Packers' defender took to social media to troll Minnesota.
...Warren Brinson, a rookie sixth-round pick out of Georgia, made a post on X about McCarthy having a concussion. He roasted the Vikings and asked the NFL not to fine the team.
"Please don’t kind fine us. this was an accident," Brinson wrote.

No flag was thrown on the play that seems likely to have caused McCarthy's issues. It isn't likely that the NFL will come down on Green Bay for the incident, although that is not a guarantee as the league has been much more strict this season.
Following the win over the Vikings, the Packers have back-to-back huge games on their schedule.
On Thanksgiving Day, Green Bay will hit the road for a crucial matchup against the Detroit Lions. Of course, the Packers defeated the Lions at Lambeau Field in the season opener by a final score of 27-13. The defense was dominant in that game as well.

After playing Detroit, Green Bay will play host to the arch rival Chicago Bears. Right now, the Bears are leading the NFC North division and have won eight out of their last nine games. The Packers will have their hands full with those two games.
As for Green Bay, the team holds a 7-3-1 record after beating Minnesota. The Packers still are in a good position when it comes to playoff positioning, but in the stacked NFC that could change quickly.
