...The Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) need to regroup after a devastating loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
It's clear to the Eagles that they can no longer sweep their issues, especially with their offense, under the rug.
Unfortunately, that comes at a time where some key defensive starters are battling injuries. Seven players are either out or injured like Reed Blankenship and Adoree Jackson. Considering how powerful the Eagles have been, and without All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson, they'll need to adapt fast to changes if they want a shot at a repeat Super Bowl win.
Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio met with reporters on Tuesday to discuss Andrew Mukuba's injury when he fractured his ankle during Sunday's game. Fangio mentioned that he's impressed with Sydney Brown who will step into Mukuba's role.

"I think he's being doing a good job in practice with the reps that he does get. He's done a good job staying in tune with meetings and walkthroughs, and I'm excited to see how he does." Fangio said.
After Week 12, the Eagles defense ranks 20th in defensive yards and touchdowns allowed, 22nd in passing defense, and 18th in run defense -- a very stark difference from last season.
Fangio also added that he expects Blankenship to play on Friday when the Eagles take on the Chicago Bears at 3 p.m. ET.
