Don't expect Assassin's Creed Shadows to get another expansion as big as Claws of Awaji any time soon, as one of the blockbuster game's leads has said the team is focused on "chunkier," more frequent updates in 2026.
"As of now, at this moment for Year Two, there is no expansion on the size of [Claws of Awaji] that is planned, currently," associate game director Simon Lemay-Comtois says in an interview with AssCreed-focused channel JorRaptor. "We're still working on content for post-launch and supporting it, but it's not a full-on DLC the way a season pass would have had in previous years."
