There have been some really great Black Friday deals on headphones and earbuds in recent days, but Argos is going for the crown with some really dramatic discounts on a range of headphones – particularly certain Beats models.
The headlines are the the Beats Studio Pro for just £99 are down to an unbelievably £99 – Argos is saying that's 1/3 off the price of £149, but £149 was also a discount. The full price is £349! So actually they're over 70% off! A similarly huge offer brings the Beats Solo Buds down to just £29 in their Ivory colour – Argos isn't even listing this as a sale price, weirdly, but they're usually £79.
Today's best Beats headphones and earbuds Black Friday deals at Argos
Save 34% (£50)Beats Studio Pro ANC: was £149 now £99 at ArgosRead moreRead less▼This is the cheapest Argos has ever sold the Beats Studio Pro, and with a third off the previous price (which, in turn, is a fraction of the original £349 RRP) they're a bargain. In our Beats Studio Pro review we praised their "gorgeous" looks, their ease of use and their sound quality, and our only real concern was for buyers from the large-head community: they're quite tight-fitting, so if you have to buy really big hats these might not be the best Beats for you. These are typically stylish Beats headphones with great bass and effective ANC, and we'd say their closest rival is the Sony WH-1000XM5. And those Sonys aren't being discounted anywhere near this deeply for Black Friday.

Save 64% (£50.95)Beats Solo Buds: was £79.95 now £29 at ArgosRead moreRead less▼The Beats Solo Buds were Beats' smallest, cheapest and longest-lasting earbuds even at their full price, and the Ivory colour is now supremely cheap. The other colours are £45, which is nearly half price, but this (handsome) colour is the super-bargain. Their 18-hour battery life is superb, and they're both compact and comfortable and surprisingly well-behaved for a set of Beats: the bass here is quite reserved compared to Beats' over-ears.

Save 31% (£78)Beats Powerbeats Pro 2: was £249 now £171 at ArgosRead moreRead less▼This is Argos's lowest ever price for these brilliant fitness earphones, and with nearly £80 off the original RRP they're a very tempting buy. All four colours are available, and while the orange and purple ones are the most fun you can also get a more sober black or grey. In our Powerbeats Pro 2 review we praised their integrated heart-rate monitoring, exceptional battery life and comfortable fit. These are good-sounding sports buds with effective active noise cancellation and most importantly of all, they stay put no matter how intense your activity: "these earbuds go on for hour after hour, take your heart-rate and feel super-secure in your ears," we said.

Save 50% (£100.95)Beats Solo 4: was £199.95 now £99 at ArgosRead moreRead less▼In our Beats Solo 4 review we liked a lot of their features but didn't like the price tag: at just shy of £200 they were just too expensive compared to rivals. This is a much better proposition, with half off the RRP. That makes it a much more affordable way to wear the big B on your ears, and if you don't need noise cancellation these are good all-rounders for everyday listening. Though with the Studio Pro also at £99, I'd choose those…

Save 50% (£100)Beats Fit Pro: was £199 now £99 at ArgosRead moreRead less▼The Beats Fit Pro are the more affordable, workout-friendly AirPods Pro alternative: in our review we said that they deliver "an AirPods Pro-like experience at a lower price" with active noise cancellation, spatial audio support. At half their original retail price they're really great value for money: we said they were good value at their full RRP, so this Black Friday deal's a steal.
