Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season will kick off with a Thanksgiving Day triple-header and the second matchup will feature the Kansas City Chiefs visiting the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Cowboys successfully overcame a 21-point deficit against the Eagles this past Sunday, winning 24-21 by way of a last-second field goal to keep themselves afloat in the NFC playoff hunt. Running back Malik Davis has chipped into the winning effort for the past two weeks and has been rewarded with a spot on the 53-man roster for the time being.

Below, we’ll go over Davis’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 13.

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys WR Malik Davis

Davis offered up three carries for 24 yards on the ground in Sunday’s win over the Eagles, following up his 20-yard effort against the Raiders the week prior. With rookie Jaydon Blue being a healthy scratch for the past month, the Cowboys have been in need of a proper RB2 behind Javonte Williams and Davis has stepped right up off the practice squad to fill that role. We’ll see if the fourth-year back out of Florida will be in line for more snaps in this big holiday showdown.

Start or sit in Week 13?

Sit. Unless you’re in an extremely deep league, I wouldn’t recommend rushing to throw Davis in your lineup. However, I would recommend to keep an eye out for him because if he does see an uptick in work, he could become a valuable waiver add for the fantasy playoffs.
