Getty ImagesThe Detroit Lions suffered a tough blow to their offense in the first quarter of their Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers. Amon-Ra St. Brown suffered an ankle injury and he is questionable to return to the game, according to sideline reporter Erin Andrews. St. Brown was targeted once prior to the injury. He was coming off a season-high performance in Week 12 against the New York Giants when he caught nine passes for 149 yards and a touchdown.
St. Brown injured the ankle while blocking downfield. Kayode Awosika and Trystan Colon rolled up on him from behind during the play. After getting checked out in the blue medical tent he went back to the locker room for further examination.
It’s been a tough start to the game for the Lions offense. Goff had failed to complete any of his first three passes, targeting St. Brown once and Jameson Williams twice. The Lions trailed 3-0 at the time of the injury.
