Getty ImagesWeek 12 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the Sunday slate will conclude with a battle of NFC playoff contenders as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the Los Angeles Rams at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
The Rams notched their fifth straight victory in a 21-19 triumph over the Seahawks last Sunday and now hold sole possession of first place in the NFC West standings. Tight end Colby Parkinson once again left his imprint on this game as he’s starting to emerge as a reliable red-zone weapon late in the season.
Below, we’ll go over Parkinson’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 12.
Fantasy Football analysis: Rams TE Colby ParkinsonParkinson only caught two receptions for 14 yards in last Sunday’s two-point victory over the Seahawks, but one of them was a six-yard touchdown that extended the Rams’ lead in the fourth quarter. It was his second straight week with a score and he’s been gradually getting more opportunities on the field in recent weeks, staying on the field for 69% of the offensive snaps in the win.
The sixth-year vet is notably getting more work than fellow tight ends Tyler Higbee and Davis Allen in recent weeks and the threat of all three is a thing opposing defenses will have to account for the rest of the season and into the playoffs. We’ll see if he can be a difference maker at home this evening.
Start or sit in Week 12?Sit. Tampa Bay’s defense has only yielded a league-low 78 receiving yards in the red zone this season and has limited opposing tight ends to just 6.6 fantasy points per game. Parkinson’s usefulness as a fantasy option has been tied to his ability to score in the red area and I think he gets shut out of the end zone this week.
