Police are urgently searching for a woman convicted in the Slender Man stabbing case after she removed her police tag and escaped custody.
Morgan Geyser was convicted of stabbing a classmate to ‘please’ the fictional Slender Man character and was committed to a mental hospital for 40 years.
However, in January, a judge decided she had maximised her treatment options at the Wisconsin mental health facility and said she could be housed in a group home.
She was last seen in the area of Kroncke Drive, Madison, at around 8pm with an adult acquaintance, but her whereabouts are unknown as of this morning.

The Madison Police Department was notified of her disappearance this morning.
