After falling in a luxury London hotel, Lady Colin Campbell is planning on suing the owners as she remains in hospital recovering from her injuries.
The star was on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2015, but left the competition on medical grounds, finishing in eighth place.
Lady Campbell, 76, has now shattered her pelvis and hip, facing a six-month wait before she can walk again.
The incident happened in the building’s basement, where she was attending a film screening, with the TV personality describing the room as ‘very beautiful, black on black.’

She told The Sun: ‘I was invited to sit down, but there was a person between me and my seat, so to avoid stepping over them, I took a step around.’
Lady Campbell went on: ‘The room is designed to look like it is all on the same level.

‘Where I fell was a radically different level. It was like falling into an abyss.’
‘It wasn’t like tripping down a step, which is five to seven inches; it was more like a 12- to 18-inch drop.
‘They (the hotel) have put style before safety.’
The former I’m A Celebrity campmate has been creating content in her hospital gown from her bed at the private King Edward VII’s Hospital in London.
It was from there that Lady Campbell explained to the outlet that there was ‘no lighting, no member of staff with a torch to indicate there was a plunge.’
The screening was for filmmaker Amanda Eliasch’s new project, The Truth Will Come Out – a film described on her Instagram as ‘the truth behind William Shakespeare’.

Initially, Lady Campbell was taken to St Thomas’ hospital before moving on to King Edward VII’s.
She’s been on morphine in hospital since the fall on October 26 and described her pain as ‘excruciating’.
Lady Campbell said about legal action: ‘I will take it. I hope it can be resolved nicely, but if not, it will be resolved either way.’
She claimed that paramedics also ‘almost fell down the drop when they came’, stating: ‘This cannot happen again.’
Metro has approached the hotel for comment.

The star was a divisive character in the camp, and didn’t mince her words when talking about the other contestants.
